Vintage slabs keep climbing while the modern chase cools

  • The heat is high-end and older. Our buyers paid a median $19,100 for our PSA 10s over the last 90 days, and a 2012 Dragons Exalted Ho-Oh EX in PSA 10 just brought $50,400.
  • Modern chase money is softer. The cheapest listing on the typical modern English chase card sits at 89% of recent sales — you can usually buy below the last comp, so bid accordingly.
  • One card carries a whole set: Mega Charizard X ex ($679) is 60% of the Phantasmal Flames master set. Sealed prices don't discount that, so if the chase slips, the box has nothing priced in.
