PSA 10 examples number 123, so this is a scarce card but not a one-of-one, and pre-auction record talk is cheap promotion. What matters is where it actually closes on Oct. 9 relative to the headline number. If it falls well short, that says more about where the top of the market sits right now than the estimate does.
