Pokémon sends Pikachu ex and Minior cards to the ISS for World Space Week

The official Pokémon account on X confirmed astronaut Sophie Adenot brought Pokémon cards, including a Pikachu ex and a Minior, aboard the International Space Station for World Space Week, according to OpenCritic. Photos show the cards floating with Earth behind them.

Cofre's take

A marketing stunt, not a market signal. Flown-to-space cards are one-offs, and unless they surface at auction with documented provenance this changes nothing for collectors. If they do appear, expect big asking prices and thin evidence — spaceflight 'firsts' attract hype long before they attract verified sales.

Our read, from the people who buy and sell these cards. Opinion, not financial advice.
